The Dangerous Dads Network has been run by Ian Blackwell, a local dad, since 2007.
Ian has experience as a course leader and activity organiser, and has run events at museums, in the countryside and along coastal areas around the UK.
He worked at Plymouth University as the Project Manager for the Natural Connections Project, one of the largest outdoor learning projects in the UK.
He is now a PhD student at The University of St Mark & St John researching the impact and benefits of outdoor fathering programmes
Ian is a Level 3 Qualified Forest School Leader and a Muir Trek Award leader, a member of the Forest School Association and the Institute for Outdoor Learning.
He is also a qualified First Aider and has a CRB/ DBS Certificate and is a Fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
